New flavoured chocolate marshmallows and chocolate drinks set for launch at the Speciality Chocolate Fair

Contemporary confectioners Barú will be officially unveiling a new seasonal collection at the Speciality Chocolate Fair (stand 3224) that will include new signature chocolate marshmallows and chocolate drink powders.
Barú’s marshmallow ‘clouds’ are made to a carefully developed recipe that includes real honey and ground vanilla pods to create a soft, light, eat. Three new flavoured marshmallows will be launched at the show, each generously enrobed in rich Belgian chocolate. Strawberry & Toasted Coconut Marshmallow has a layer of strawberry truffle and is covered in dark chocolate; Coffee & Cream Marshmallow has a generous topping of coffee and cream ganache and is enrobed in Belgian milk chocolate whilst Dark Caramel Marshmallow is topped with a rich layer of luxurious dark caramel and enveloped in milk chocolate. Packed into a 60g box, each marshmallow is individually wrapped RRP £3.69. The Milk Chocolate Dark Caramel Marshmallow is also available in a larger 120g pack RRP £5.00.
Alongside the launch of the signature marshmallows are three new flavours of swirly chocolate drinks powders; White Chocolate Latte, Salty Caramel Hot Chocolate and Peppermint Hot Chocolate. RRP £4.00 for a 250g tin. Barú’s drinking powders go back to basics using the finest quality Belgian chocolate for an indulgent drink. The spices for the Latte range are specially selected and ground to a very small sieve size to ensure that all of the taste comes from the spices, vanilla and white chocolate. The drinking chocolates have also been designed to be a fun experience with added moulded chocolate pieces (hat, car, moustache, star, moon…) that slowly melt into the hot chocolate.
Barú’s gift selection has also been extended and new gift items on display will include an assorted pack of gourmet marshmallows that contain a mix of Milk Chocolate Marshmallows, Milk Chocolate Coffee & Cream, Dark Chocolate and Dark Chocolate Fleur de Sel Caramel. Available in two sizes: a large tube filled with 20 individually wrapped marshmallows or smaller 6 piece pack (RRP £5.00).
