Ground Asafoetida requires cooking with oil. With Spice Drops®, no cooking is required to achieve a mellow flavour similar to onions and garlic. In Asian and Middle Eastern dishes, Asafoetida is used widely in dishes containing beans and pulses to aid digestion and reduce the ‘after effects’.
1 or 2 drops in a portion of baked beans, or add to stews and soups which contain pulses and beans. 1 or 2 drops in daal, lentil or bean soup will lift the flavour.
Spice Drops® are concentrated extracts that retain all the natural goodness and flavour of the herbs, fruits and flowers.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
For best results use in the final stages of preparation or just before serving. For drinks, add the drop(s) first in the container and pour the drink on top. Shake well before use. If stored correctly, stays fresh for up to 3 years.
