As with a number of the Piedmont chocolates the names reveal the French influence that came with the House of Savoy. These “délice” pralines come from the French for ‘delight’.
The combination of a single toasted hazelnut enrobed in velvet smooth hazelnut praline and coated in crisp dark chocolate makes these chocolates truly a delight in taste, texture and flavour.
Awarded a Gold Star in the Great Taste Awards 2015, judges comments included:
“Smooth praline, generously filled chocolates with a good crisp hazelnut. Very enjoyable.”
The Delice are packaged in a sweet like foil wrapper.
