Biography

Charlie Turnbull (Turnbulls) and Mary Quicke (Quicke's) have joined forces with a group of other founding directors - John Farrand (Guild of Fine Food), Ros Windsor (Paxton & Whitfield), Clare Downes (Monkhouse Food & Drink), Paul Thomas (Dairy Consultancy & Training) to form the Academy of Cheese. The vision has been to develop a professional cheese qualification in the UK - for trade and to engage with consumers too. Level One is launching autumn 2017, to be followed by Level Two during 2018 and then onto the next two levels - Level Four being the Master of Cheese.
