We are over the moon that our lovely sea salt flakes have been recognised by the Great Taste Judges and given the highest accolade possible. Blackthorn is also nominated for the Golden Fork Awards, so more nail-biting to come. but to have these stars is just everything to us. 

Our crystals represent the very best that we can think of in terms of salt, soft, flaky, packed with a full range of minerals that bring out each of the 5 basic tastes; they do not overwhelm the pallet, but bring out what is best in food; they are made sustainably and extraordinarily using a method that we love; they are made by the winds, sea and sun from the West Coast of Scotland; they are made with care and time.

To have this blind-judged recognition is testimony to everything that goes on behind the scenes at Blackthorn and we are totally thrilled. Thank you to the Guild of Fine Foods and the judges, most of all to our incredible team.
