This award has been obtained after achieving the highest score for seven years, and is a unique recognition that grants the highest seal of quality and international recognition

The award has been granted by a jury of 250 international chefs and sommeliers and first-class institutions,  consolidating Montesano Extremadura at the top of the best acorn-fed Iberian cured meats in the world

Ibéricos Montesano has been defined in Brussels as a "ham of superior quality, wonderful appearance, exceptional texture and spectacular taste. Pure delight"

Montesano was the only Spanish Iberian ham company to achieve this recognition in 2024
