Weather conditions
Continental weather. Cold winter and extremely hot and dry summer with important differences in temperature between day and night.
Soils
It is a mix of sand consisting of silt and clay which alternates with layers of chalky limestone.
Winemaking process
The grapes were picked by hand and placed in crates of 14 kgs. Destemmed and gently crushed, the must went by gravity to the tanks. Fermented at 21º-25ºC. using selected yeasts. Long vatting time of 12 days. Wine is racked and stabilized by natural decantation to be filtered before bottling.
Tasting notes
This wine is purplish red, clean and brilliant, featuring an intense nose with ripe dark-cherry and chocolate aromas. Succulent, juicy and fresh set of cassis and ripe-berry flavors. Lithe and juice.
