Weather conditions
Continental weather. Cold winter and extremely hot and dry summer with important differences in temperature between day and night.
Soils
It is a mix of sand consisting of silt and clay which alternates with layers of chalky limestone.
Winemaking process
The grapes are picking by hand and placed in crates of 14 kg. to be later selected according to their quality. Destemmed and gently crushed, the must goes by gravity to the tanks. Fermented at 23º-26ºC. using selected yeasts. Long vatting time of 18 days. Aged during 6 months in barrels of American oak.
Tasting notes
Cherry red with the intensity softened by violet hues on the borders. Plenty of fragant, ripe blueberries. Tanning structure with a long, dry finish. Pure tempranillo.
