Celebrating a free from Christmas

The bespoke Christmas Awards, designed to recognise and celebrate seasonal and seasonally relevant products, is now firmly established and hotly anticipated amongst entrants, judges, sponsors and consumers who are keen to get ahead with their Christmas planning. What better way to get on the consumer radar this Christmas than with a medal!!

Our Christmas categories address a wide array of festive occasions, from counting down with the traditional (or not so traditional) advent calendars to the Christmas Dinner and everything in-between.

This year we will have a category dedicated to a Christmas classic (and for many a festive quality barometer) – the Mince Pie. Not only will we be awarding medals we’ll also be producing the FFCA Mince Pie Matrix!

We are also looking to put festive sandwiches to the test to determine the ultimate option that will be sure to not only satisfy the tastebuds but deliver the festive feels.

Introducing our Hallowe’en Award

With the growing popularity of Hallowe’en, the development focus on seasonal occasions and due to Hallowe’en starting earlier and being more enthusiastically celebrated every year, for those with food allergies 31st October is a date which can spook in all the wrong ways.

We’re raising awareness about the growing number of yowlingly yummy and spine-chillingly safe options now available …if it’s ghoulish, and free from one or more of the top 14 allergens, then it would make a great entry.
