Ibéricos Montesano is a three-generation family company, located in Jerez de los Caballeros (Badajoz), an area known as the cradle of Iberian ham.
- They breed their own livestock, and guarantee vertical integration of production, to deliver products with the highest standards of quality.
- In this meat production complex, consisting of a slaughterhouse, ham curing room and factory for Iberian hams and sausages, the highest quality products are produced in facilities of approximately 18,000 sq.m. They have ham curing rooms with capacity for more than 400,000 joints of Iberian ham.
- Ibéricos Montesano exports its products to more than 40 countries such as China, Japan, South Korea, Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, Chile, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Panama, Venezuela, Vietnam, the Philippines, Guatemala, Costa Rica and countries of the European Union.
- Ibéricos Montesano are also experts in other product lines such as loins, chorizos, Iberian sausages from 100% of the finest lean Iberian pork.
- They produce Black, Red and Green Labels (Brida Negra, Brida Roja and Brida Verde).
- The Dehesa de Extremadura Designation of Origin (DOP) label of the products is a testimony to the commitment of Extremadura's people to quality and authenticity in the production of foods.
- Montesano Acorn-fed Ham 100% Ibérico has won the highest gastronomic award in the world, the Diamond Award, from the prestigious International Taste Institute of Brussels 2024. This award was obtained after achieving the highest score for seven years, and is a unique acknowledgement to justify the highest quality hallmark and international recognition.
