As Founding Chair of Selfridges & Co.’s Diversity Board, Melisa Clottey has helped to create inclusive environments. An architect of their Broaden our Buy concept, she continues to cheerlead the inclusion of diverse products from a diverse range of suppliers. Initially a Food Scientist by trade working on New Product Development for a number of leading brands, Melisa’s remit has since expanded to deliver the highest product safety standards, and the associated supplier assurances, across a vast array of categories from cosmetics to candles, and from fragrance to furniture.  When she is not doing all things product compliance, Melisa visits schools as a STEM Ambassador to share the joys of food and food science with young pupils
