Exclusivity and sustainability: The recipe for Iberian olive oil aiming to conquer the UK
Gi&Go CEO & Founder Myriam Giganto Jiménez

The most exclusive Iberian olive oil, originating from the fields of Spain and Portugal, has arrived in the UK, thanks to Natural Legacy, a 100% sustainable gourmet brand. The brand is making a strong push into the British market with a select range of products rooted in historical artisanal traditions and unparalleled care for raw materials. This has been confirmed by the company, which is showcasing its major agri-food initiative in London this week.

The Spanish brand has chosen the prestigious Speciality & Fine Food Fair, a leading event in the artisanal food and drink industry for the past 25 years, to officially kick off its international expansion. Its gastronomic gems captivate with their flavour, having been sourced from iconic estates in the southern Iberian Peninsula.

Starting in the coming weeks, Natural Legacy products will begin appearing on the shelves of supermarkets and gourmet shops in the initial launch areas. The new brand is the result of a partnership between Grupo Bolschare and Gi&Go, a company specialized in the internationalisation of agri-food products. Together, they aim to create a catalogue that brings food directly from the fields to the table.

The initial catalogue will include three types of products: Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO), nuts, and honey, all produced to strict quality standards that guarantee full traceability from field to table.

According to company sources, Natural Legacy products are "the result of a careful cultivation and processing of raw materials that not only guarantee optimal taste but reflect a way of thinking about agriculture that respects the environment and the people within its value chain." They emphasise that all products in the catalogue come from sustainable crops, with production processes fully monitored at every stage.

A strong commitment to transparency and biodiversity

Transparency is one of Natural Legacy’s key principles. Its products include a detailed report on the farms where they were grown and full traceability that shows the journey from plantation to table. Additionally, via a QR code printed on the packaging, consumers can access videos of the fields from which the products originate, as well as meet the professionals who played a key role in their cultivation.

Natural Legacy strives to highlight the purity of its products as a distinguishing feature. None of its products undergo artificial processing or derivative treatments, aiming to always showcase the essence of the finest raw materials. Through this approach, the brand seeks to connect people with the authentic taste of the land and the artisanal traditions that have inspired the production of each item for centuries.

A testament to Natural Legacy's commitment to biodiversity is its honey, made from endangered species. This honey is produced through a respectful process that encourages the growth and recovery of the threatened flora's habitat.

It is worth noting that Natural Legacy was born from a family’s love for the land, with deep roots in agriculture and a passion for the gastronomic culture that defines their region. Initially, the brand began as a modest project aimed at introducing a select range of flagship products that embody the essence and beauty of the Iberian Peninsula to a wider audience. Today, Natural Legacy aspires to be recognised for its superior quality and eco-conscious philosophy.
