This award is open to food & drink producers, retailers, or wholesalers. This award celebrates a business who has launched a DEI (diversity, equality, and inclusion) initiative that has brought about positive change. 

Criteria: 

  • Have a lasting impact and fundamentally change the way your business operates

  • Demonstrate excellent practice, procedures and policies

  • Highlight how your business is implementing the DEI initiative and show evidence of how successfully it is becoming embedded.

The winner was announced on Tuesday 10th September at Speciality & Fine Food Fair.

NEMI Teas, a London-based tea specialist with compostable tea bags, supports TRAMPOLINE Cafe, a social enterprise empowering refugees. The cafe's incubator program helps refugee chefs cover major costs such as rent, utilities and wages, allowing chefs to showcase their cuisine and gain
experience in running their own restaurant.
